Things you can do with a wedding present:
Return it. Burn it. Churn it.
Churn is exactly what Kris Swanberg did with the ice cream maker she got for her nuptials. With nothing more than a burnin’ for churnin’ (she’s a teacher, not a chef), she creamed, crafted, crystallized, and voila: Nice Cream was born.
To obtain Nice Cream’s mouthwatering quality, Swanberg starts with local and organic cream, sugar, and eggs. Then she adds unexpectedly delicious ingredients and creates flavors like banana bread with dark chocolate chips, salted chocolate with Marcona almonds, sweet potato with toasted marshmallows and pecans, and honey butter with spicy cornbread.
Flavors rotate seasonally. Come winter, expect hot chocolate with roasted marshmallows and Lady Grey tea with shortbread.
We begged for a lifetime supply, but Swanberg resisted.
Come on. Throw us a cone here.
