Excerpt from an interview with Jay and Silent Bob about their latest flick.
Jay: Yeah, we basically chase this chick named Amy Rowan around Chicago and watch her make stationery. She’s got it goin’ on — her company, Art School Girl; a degree from the School of the Art Institute. Mad street cred, right, B?
Bob: Silence.
Jay: Anyway, she clips images and pages from vintage books and makes them into cards, bookmarks, and envelopes, sometimes hand-sewing the pictures onto card stock. Every piece is awesome and unique.
Bob: Grunt.
Jay: Girl has mad-cool ideas: Sweetheart cards (old-school yearbook pics), Ani-Mail (bunnies, otters), and Moon Mail (space themed) with vibrant, retro illos. The best are Heart Keys: laser-cut keys from vintage picture book covers and a tiny envelope reading “To My Heart.” That’s passion, man. True, B?
Bob: Cough.
Jay: He’s speechless.
