You arrive home on Valentine’s Day and are greeted by an unfamiliar aroma. Your man thinks spatulas are for spanking — no way he’s responsible for the scent in the kitchen. You hear a voice. “Baby, it’s not me; it’s Hugh.”
Don’t cry. He’s not dumping you. He’s making dinner.
Or, rather, Hugh Amano is.
This V-Day, the former Uncommon Ground executive sous chef is cooking dinner for you and your boo. He’ll do as much or little as you like (from the entire meal to helping you prep and leaving you to cook).
You’ll work together to create a menu for the night (oysters with homemade mignonette sauce, filet-cut rib eye, sensational chocolate mousse), then prepare it with seasonal ingredients. Accompany him to the store and he’ll teach you the ins and outs of shopping local.
He doesn’t need much notice but act fast if you want to book him for the 14. He’ll offer his services anytime if V-Day doesn’t work out.
What Amano.
