For Mary Janacek, baking was in the cards.
Born and bred in The Lonestar State, Janacek spent her childhood measuring, mixing, and taste-testing with her mom. Years later, she honed her skills as a baker at Auntie Em’s in Los Angeles.
Today, the Chicago transplant and stay-at-home mom has a full house: her first baby, Harper, and her second, Buttermilk Bakeshop.
