No Weeping for Willow

Willow Home Delivery Service Launches

Big box stores are kind of like the swine flu: make you gag a little, spread like wildfire.

Is it the end of the mom-and-pop shop as we know it?

Nah, and we feel fine. Because Willow (which shuttered a few weeks ago to go online only) is still going strong. The charming home store just introduced two new components: a vintage section and same-day delivery.

Procrastinators, rejoice! Order anything from the site via phone and someone will drop it at your door within a few hours. Perfect for last-minute gifts or those who require instant gratification, the service is one of the few of its kind in the city.

Delivery is free throughout May.

Try not to hog it.

Willow (773-772-0140 or shopwillow.net). Deliveries are made Monday-Friday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
