DailyCandy is a handpicked selection of all that's fun, fashionable, food related, and culturally stimulating in the city you’re fixated on (and all over the Web).
Need a car? There’s an app for that.
How ’bout a boyfriend? There’s an app for that, too.
Got a donut craving? There’s crap for that.
Introducing Glazed Donuts, a local donut catering company that will satisfy your sustainable sweet tooth. Owner Kirsten Anderson holes up (ha) late into the night, creating obscure flavor combos like orange nutmeg with clove, chocolate crisp, lemon pistachio, pomegranate thyme, blood orange whiskey sour (yum), and fresh apricot with mint.
Anderson’s confections contain natural, seasonal ingredients and are 98 percent vegan, save for a few (maple bacon, white chocolate lavender). She even makes donut cakes: The Boston cream is double-chocolate donuts layered with vanilla custard.
Order ahead and pick up a week’s supply. Custom flavors are no problem; use your imagination.
