Though most things don’t get better with age (breasts, bread), some do (wine, Clooney).
Add Art School Girl’s vintage picture book collection to the list.
Designer and School of the Art Institute grad Amy Rowan has spent the past ten years amassing adorable hardcover children’s books from the 1950s to the ’80s and turning them into one-of-a-kind greeting cards and envelopes. Fifty of her favorites are now up for grabs at Post 27.
Books range in topic from science (Let’s Find Out About Sound) to crafting (Fun Time Macrame), and they’re all in good condition. Prices range $2-$16.
She also hawks nostalgic housewares like glass coffee pots, tea cups, and alphabet blocks.
By George, she’s got it.
