The Rocking Horse Opens

You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink.

And why would you? Making yourself drink is more fun.

Saddle up at The Rocking Horse, Logan Square’s newest bar. Owners Georg Simos and Alex Tsolakides (High Dive) turn it up a notch with dark walls, leather-studded chairs, and vintage fixtures plucked from local thrift shops.

The Horse offers twelve beers on tap (Three Floyds, Two Brothers, Allagash) and over 50 bottle selections from PBR to 22-ounce Belgian brews. Sop them up with greasy grub: High Dive’s famous wings, Canadian poutine (fries slathered with cheddar and gravy), chili cheese tots. Coming soon: a brilliant brunch menu.

Hop into the photo booth while you’re waiting to shoot pool in the back room.

Can’t say nay to that.
