Dear Diary,

Age 13
Took my first precollege class at FIT today! Yikes. I was definitely the only one wearing a training bra. Hope I grow up to be a famous artist.

Age 18
In Italy with my dad all summer. So inspired. Have been futzing around making jewelry for friends. They think I should sell it. Eep! 

Age 19
Moved to Chicago on a whim! Have been using found vintage chains, lockets, charms, and more. I’m into gunmetal, dark enamel, and brass, too — anything raw and easy to wear.

Age 20
I’m in business! The round brass locket on the Rosemary necklace fits two pictures; Lichen has vintage chains that create fringe around the neck; and my gold-dipped crystal quartz necklaces are a smash. No more time to write. Am officially a working girl.
