Getting blitzed on eggnog, wearing Christmas sweaters, hooking up at the office party.
You’re a sucker for holiday traditions.
Except when it comes to the tree. The sap. The hoisting. The dangerous drive home — one hand on the wheel, the other preventing the prickly thing from becoming roadkill.
Leave the dreaded task to Green Valley Christmas Trees, who delivers lush, full-bodied beauties that are harvested and shipped the same day from farms in North Carolina and Oregon.
You pick the type (white pine, noble or Fraser fir) and size (up to nine feet); Green Valley packs it in a protective, moisture-resistant carton with a predrilled trunk and removal bag. Shipping is free, and prices max out at less than $250 (believe it).
Secret Santas take orders until December 21, so there’s plenty of time for your favorite tradition …
Breaking out the balls.

This is AWESOME! I hate having to go out and get a tree. Do you realize how much of a hassle it is? Not to mention I threw my back out last year, trying to put the tree on the car. I say thank you to Green Valley Christmas Trees!

oh man this is awful! going to get a tree is really a nice experience! mail ordering a freshly cut tree that is just going to be tossed away? awful. Get a smaller live tree that you can at least try to keep alive for a few months. How depressing.

Fresh trees are the best! They make your home smell wonderful, and a real tree will let you "time travel" back to your childhood........ Mmmmmmmm. Gingerbread is baking; presents are waiting! After we were thru with the tree, we'd put it outside and smear p-nut butter on it with birdseed, etc. Later, it would be mulch in the yard or a fish nursery in a lake. Love real trees! Syndra
