You love a good jam session. Cue Billy Elliot soundtrack. (No, don’t.)
We were thinking about sampling Quince and Apple small-batch, seasonal preserves.
The spreadables are made in Madison, Wisconsin, by too-cute mix master couple Matt and Clare Stoner Fehsenfeld, who met at a college co-op. They work into the wee hours producing bright, fresh jams in flavors like fig and black tea, shallot confit with red wine, orange marmalade with lemon and ginger, pear with honey and ginger, and apricot almond. Summer will bring seasonal awesomeness like strawberry and fresh rosemary.
Ingredients are locally sourced, often from Wisconsin orchards and farms, and organic when possible.
That’s music to the ears.
