Pregnancy can feel like one big waiting game — with frequent Ben & Jerry’s breaks.
Hold out with Bump Club Chicago. The just-launched group brings together expectant moms for dinners, seminars, workouts, and more.
Founder (and mom-to-be) Lindsay Pinchuk organizes at least two events a month and anyone, as long as she’s preggo, is invited. Though there’s no cost to be a member, events require pre-registration and spots fill up quickly.
At the May 17 dinner at Quartino ($50), a rep from the baby boutique Giggle dishes registry tips. And at a June 23 dinner, lactation consultant and nurse Kathy Lipke discusses what to expect at the hospital and during your first week home with baby. There are also regular prenatal fitness classes at The Dailey Method.
Soon, a VIP program will provide yearlong discounts at stores like Twinkle Twinkle Little One and with local photographers, ensuring you’ll stay in swell company even after baby arrives.
