Spice up your workout routine with a weekly tango throwdown at The Lab, the West Loop’s new 5,000-square-foot tango and yoga emporium. The milongas take place on Saturdays and are BYOB (be healthy! bring your own Brita).

After all that hard work, you need to replenish. Because juice bars are hard to come by in this town, we suck down potassium-rich coconut water (straight from the fruit — not the cardboard box) from Karyn’s Raw like it’s our job. Order a Peaceful Warrior (carrot, kale, cucumber, spinach, and celery) to go.

mana food bar smoothie!At veggie haven Mana Food Bar, splurge all you like on red quinoa with tangerine dressing, seaweed salad, and avocado smoothies. Get your sweet fix at 2-month-old Cloud 9, a Taiwanese shaved-ice spot that serves up ribbons of silky, milky goodness.

That way, a spontaneous ice cream splurge is really a treat.
