Picking up prescriptions can be a pill.
Lucky for you, Aaron Pietrykowski can alleviate your pain. His new Lincoln Park storefront, Aaron’s Apothecary, opened last week.
In place of fluorescent lights and stark white walls are antique chandeliers and dark wood accents; instead of Wet n Wild, browse quality cosmetics (Malin + Goetz, Ahava, Murad). Enlist the help of the shop’s licensed cosmetologist if you’re feeling iffy about product choices.
Pick up last-minute party gifts or quirky curios to spice up your home: Jonathan Adler pillows and pottery, Vosges chocolates, Voluspa candles. Of course, you can get your meds there, too (Pietrykowski worked for Parkway Drugs for years before opening up shop). Now that’s straight ill.
