There are crazy dancers (see: Portman, Natalie; Kunis, Mila), and then there are crazy dancers (see: Urkel, Steve; Howard, Uncle).
But you’d be insane not to check out All About Dance’s shiny new digs. The 7,000-square-foot space will have you seeing double.
A few months ago, former competitive dancer and AAD founder Jessica Swiggum Goldman decided to take her 6-year-old Lincoln Park studio up a few notches. So she moved to Old Town, built four large studios with wood-sprung floors and killer sound systems, and introduced new classes to the mix.
The most fitness-friendly of them all may be the new Dance Body, combining intervals of strength training (think weights, bands, push-ups, planks) and choreography (styles vary from salsa to hip-hop). It’s totally nuts.
