Dave and Megan Miller’s county fair-themed shop gets a blue ribbon for pies like Grandma used to bake (by the slice or whole), fluffy biscuits in a variety of flavors, and coffee Dave roasts himself. They recruited Chicago’s culinary elite (Alinea, Boka) to beef up their savory offerings for brunch (biscuit sandwiches, house-made sorghum sausage, Sawmill gravy) and supper (Southern meatballs, shrimp and crab cakes).
