Jell-O shots are so college. Graduate to this sweet summer treat concocted by chef Jason Boso of Twisted Root Burger Co.
Spiked Lemon and Thyme Pops
10 Meyer lemons, juiced
2 c. water
2 c. sugar
3 sprigs thyme
¼ c. citron vodka
4 sugarcane sticks
Ice pop molds
1. Pour juice into a pot.
2. Add water, sugar, and thyme. Cook for 20 minutes over medium heat.
3. Fill each ice pop mold three-quarters full with the mixture. Add vodka until liquid is just shy of the top. Cover with plastic wrap.
4. Cut sugarcane sticks to a preferred size and stick through wrapping into the middle of each mold. Freeze for 2 hours.
