What: Chefs from local restos (The Grape, Parigi, Restaurant Ava) prepare picnic lunches served from White Rock Lake’s original Bath House concession stand, along with beer, wine, and Deep Eddy Sweet Tea vodka drinks. Plus live music and an exhibition of photos and memorabilia from the good ol’ days.
Why: Proceeds benefit American Red Cross Dallas and the Comerica White Rock Lake Centennial Celebration, which funds lake-enhancing projects like improving parking lots and restoring park forests.

Supplies Me Art + Craft Supply Sale
What: The craftsters behind Etsy Dallas unload their personal overflow and stashes of art supplies (textiles, beads, yarn, and more) for DIY lovers to purchase on the cheap.
Why: Proceeds from the Etsy team’s table benefit Captain Hope’s Kids, a nonprofit that supports homeless children.

What: The Snider Plaza clothing boutique shuts its doors in order to open on Lovers Lane later this fall, so all merch is 50 to 75 percent off.
