What:
The casual, new Richardson food stop serves eight made-to-order tacos, tortas, and tostadas, including the vegetarian-friendly Sonoran (cactus, grilled jicama, pickled jalapenos, tomatoes, queso fresco, cilantro vinaigrette) and the Cabo (cod, jicama slaw, chipotle cream sauce).
Why: The head chef was a sous chef at the Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City, so you know he knows his stuff.

Cremespresso
What:
Blended espresso, milk, and cream ($3) served in a little paper cup with a tiny spoon — perfect for a cool summer jolt.
Why: Central Market is the only place other than Mario Batali’s Eataly in New York City you can get the chilled treat.
When: You need a coffee break.

Classic Pilates
What:
Uptown’s new Pilates and barre studio opened Monday. The light-filled space across from Lee Park hosts twenty classes a week for all levels. Bonus — chilled lavender towels.
Why: Every class is free thru Saturday (reg. $18). BarreAmped creator and former Lotte Berk Method instructor Suzanne Bowen will teach Friday at noon and Saturday at 9 and 10 a.m.

Dallas Wine Trail
What:
The Big D crawl hits Inwood Estates, Calais Winery, Times Ten Cellars, and Fuqua Winery. Rex’s Seafood, Mozzarella Company, Kathleen’s Sky Diner, and others provide the snacks.
Why: Ticket sales benefit the Greyhound Adoption League of Texas. You also get a Riedel wine glass and a bottle of wine to take home.
When: Sat., 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

LEARN
Sushi Making
What:
A two-hour class that focuses on preparing sushi rice and spicy tuna, plus slicing raw fish and crafting California and shrimp tempura rolls.
Why:
Cost ($55) includes a glass of sake, all the fixings, and a goodie bag.
