Your cardio routine is as effective as last month’s oatmeal and vodka soda diet.
Trim the fad at Fusion Fitness.
The first gym in the Design District offers 22 weekly classes based around speed, strength training, and stretching.
Here’s the drill: The 60-minute workouts begin with a romp on the treadmill to rev your heart rate. Then resistance exercises strengthen muscles and tone problem areas. Next, it’s down to the mat for Pilates stretches and relaxing breathing techniques.
Each day’s classes focus on different body parts (Tight Tush Tuesday targets glutes; Bi’s & Tri’s Thursday is all about sculpting long, lean arms). The studio also schedules private, duet, and small-group training.
For those who go against the grain.
