How to Get on The List

Decorating for lazy people

the list shopping service!

Your typical weekly shopping list:
1. Friskies
2. Tuna
3. Litter
4. Lean Cuisine

Yeah, that screams single cat lady. Score some hot tail with The List, a pay-by-product shopping service that chases down furniture and home accessories for nesters short on time or a design eye.

Mother-daughter duo Molly Bowman Stephens and Marianna Riley Stephens run the business, which is an extension of their interior design firm, Bowman & Riley Interiors, based between Dallas and Austin.

Just give these pros a shout and tell them what you’re searching for, whether it’s a single ’60s lamp or several items to make your living room purr. The duo then comb their resources around Texas to find your treasure or have it made.

They search for free, but if you want what they find, product prices are retail plus 20 percent. The average hunt takes about three weeks, and delivery costs nothing.

No cat-and-mouse games here.
