A Feathered Affair

What: Party among the more than 220 bird species that live in the forest, grassland, and wetland habitats just outside the city.
Why: The fund-raiser for science and environmental education programs benefits DISD students via an evening of cocktails, music, and food from Jeff Harris (Bolsa), Nathan Tate (Boulevardier), Chad Houser (Cafe Momentum), Graham Dodds (Hibiscus), and Abraham Salum (Komali).
