A Lost Cause

Unclaimedbaggage.com

Some baggage should definitely be left behind.

Like the whopping fear of intimacy you dragged into your last relationship. Or that pesky Oedipal complex. But to abandon your designer suitcase with pearl necklace and camera inside? Unheard of.

Or so you’d think. Check out Unclaimedbaggage.com, where the contents of unclaimed luggage bought from airlines is sold for up to 80 percent off the retail price. The site’s an offshoot of the Unclaimed Baggage Center in Scottsboro, Alabama, which has been operating since 1970 and receives thousands of new items daily. Although the online loot isn’t as extensive, it’s definitely worth a peek. Because, great discounts aside, the real — slightly twisted — lure is rifling through other people’s baggage.

It sure beats the hell out of dealing with your own.

Items are available online at unclaimedbaggage.com.
