Koffee Talk

Some things cannot be separated. Oprah and her money. Penn and Teller.

As for coffee without the caffeine, well, what’s the point of that?

The folks at Koffee Day Spa are betting that patrons will soon get their minds around such a concept. The full-service spa performs standard facials (of the 60-minute European variety) and waxing but specializes in a cache of cleverly named massages, such as the Macchiato (a blissful, hour-long, full-body number), Kaffe Mocha Latte (a hot rock massage, a soothing cucumber foot soak, and a steam facial rub), and Aroma Kappuccino (otherwise known as aromatherapy heaven).

The spa’s not much for publicity (a single sign on the side of the building and script on the door are all that let you know you’re in the right place) and doesn’t cater to large crowds (only one client at a time, please), which means making an appointment may not be easy. But assuming you get in, you’re sure to leave dreaming of your next Koffee fix.

It may not stand in for your morning cup of joe.

But you’ll be just as addicted.
