While you’re giving him the silent treatment, call Meritage Events. Owner Katie Day (who was blessed with an eye for detail) creates the type of one-of-a-kind affairs you could never do on your own. From spa parties to backyard socials, from tailgating keggers to wine-and-cheese soirees, Day will suffer all your fools (or significant others) gladly so you don’t have to.

Her magic touch extends to corporate events, store openings, and baby showers, too. Day isn’t, however, a fan of putting on weddings. Which means she probably won’t help plan your big day.
