The E.T. in your toolshed turned out to be a neighborhood kid with a thing for Reese’s Pieces. The UFO in your neighbor’s yard was a broken satellite dish. Here’s how it goes: You invite her over for a consultation and share your vision for your space — classical, nautical, lunar (just kidding). Pennington first suggests larger changes, like new paint, fabrics, and lighting — which are left up to you. Then she comes back and magically rearranges everything to perfection. (You had no idea how brilliant your vision was.)

Her services don’t come cheap ($600 for one room), but the total cost is much less than what you’d pay for a complete overhaul.
