Poor Scarlett.
Always having to endure nosy neighbors (the Tarleton twins, the Wilkeses, the North).
If only she could have given up Tara and moved closer to downtown’s newest resident, Tryst.
The restaurant has all the trappings you’d want in a home-away-from-home: patio lounge with a view of the skyline, sleek purple and cream furniture, rich cherry wood floors, and a comfort menu that includes Shiner-battered red fish with sweet potato fries, pan-roasted sea bass, and chicken in white wine with capers.
Dessert? Just as homey: banana splits, burnt-honey crème brûlée, and mango tapioca.
Of course, living in such close proximity to Tryst may have its dietary setbacks.
But at least you’ll never be hungry again.
