Weyrich Farm’s Pecans

You have many noteworthy talents.

Unfortunately, none of them has anything to do with a kitchen. Which means, once again, you’re going to need to say it with flowers this Mother’s Day.

Unless, of course, you make a statement with a little help from Weyrich Farms, a 100-acre, family-run, organic pecan grove in Eagle Pass that specializes in treats made from our state tree’s best fruit. We recommend praline-coated, milk chocolate-covered, or cinnamon spice-sprinkled nut clusters. But you probably won’t be able to resist sweet carrot-pecan and fig-preserve bundt cakes. (Don’t fight it.)

You can also order plain nuts or a slew of party-ready cocktail varieties, like honey-roasted, hot ’n’ spicy, and pecan supreme. Anything you choose will be perfectly welcome.

And will happily remind Mom that the acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree.
