Windows to the Soul
Stained Glass Mani/Pedi

Of course, you’re no religious zealot.
Your idea of a holy war involves debates over the sanctity of skinny jeans vs. high-waisted pants, lawd be praised.
But the next time you need a stylish way to your higher power, treat yourself to a church-, mosque-, or temple-friendly stained glass mani and pedi. (It’s a miracle: Something we’ve never seen before.)
Nail artist (and high priestess of acrylic) Mindy Zeiter starts by drawing an outline of an intricate mosaic design with black nail polish. Once it dries, she fills in the lines with a rainbow of colors, then retraces the black lines to ensure they stand out. A clear coat makes sure your new windows sparkle. That’s it. No airbrushing or fancy tricks involved.
The entire process for fingers and toes can take more than an hour. Which is a long time, given that the heavens and earth were made in only six days.
But you’ll agree that the end result was very good.
