You know it. We know it. The casting agents know it.

Quaintly situated inside the new W, the just-opened restaurant features favorites from Craft New York (braised short ribs, gnocchi, hen of the woods mushrooms) and dishes with regional touches (like the Texas blackberry crisp ricotta cheesecake).

Decorative changes distinguish this spot from the original. (Dare you to touch the pony hair-covered walls.) But Craft’s signature move of serving everything family style remains the same.

True, one meal is no guarantee of your fifteen minutes of fame.

But it will make it harder for you to pack your knives and go home.
