Customized Elektrik Light Boxes

They say one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch. What do we say? Consider yourself lucky.

Because while your last roll of pictures contained its fair share of stinkers (Fido’s paw, a blurry rainbow, and random cows), its saving grace was that one unexpected gem.

Which is exactly the print you should turn into an Elektrik Light Box. Created by local photographer MK Semos, these works are achieved when she blows up your digital or old-school photo and transfers it onto the back of acrylic or glass in any size you’d like. Once she adds some artistic touches and puts a light behind the masterpiece, it’s ready to hang.

And if you’re not feeling quite as confident in your own artistic abilities, feel free to choose one of Semos’s own iconographical prints or portraits from exotic locales instead. Although she’d never have an ill word to say about your prized snapshot of Fido riding a dairy cow.

Even if others would say it’s rotten to the core.
