Certain beverages (Mountain Dew, Frappuccino, Jack Daniel’s) really do lift the spirits.
Problem is, the high is always followed by a serious crash.
For potable happiness with some staying power, hit The Soda Gallery. Recently opened in the Bishop Arts District, the shop stocks more than 150 brands with crazy names like Rat Bastard root beer (which the label readily admits tastes like an S.O.B.), Lolli’s cherry pop, and Blenheim ginger ale.
And just like its beloved predecessor (rest in peace, Ifs Ands & Butts), the elixir-centric gallery also carries specialty tobacco, such as the new Pink Dreams (gold-tipped) and flavored Heavenly cigarettes (in honey, amaretto, cinnamon, and vanilla). So there’s an option for everyone.
No matter what your preferred pick-me-up.
