We don’t mind seeing London. Ditto goes for France. But your underpants? We can live without glimpsing, thanks.

So fix those pesky holes in your trousers (blouses, sweaters, mascot costume) once and for all at the Royal Reweaving Shoppe.

This tiny two-person operation can reweave any knit item (usually made of linen or wool) that’s been damaged by the likes of fire, moths, or even snagging. Just drop off the clothing in question and prepare to wait.

Because the ladies do all the work on site with their own four hands (i.e., no machines or outside help), turnaround time can take up to a month.

Of course, the results aren’t always perfect. Matching depends on the type of knit (repairs to thin weaves are more noticeable than those to thick). But the end product will be way better than what you brought in.

Just don’t bother trying to figure out how they do it.

Because some things defy rhyme or reason.
