Linus Lounge Opens

Your shopping life? Just like poor old Charlie Brown’s.

Like the time the shop girl pulled an old Lucy Van Pelt psych-out on you: She promised to hold that pair of shoes in your size, only to sell them right out from under you.

Thankfully, there are no such sob stories at the recently opened Linus Lounge. This unique one-salesperson footwear shop sells a select assortment of exotic shoes from around the world. And each is handpicked by the owner, Kristen Radakovich.

Our current favorites include chunky heels from Nicholas Kirkwood, sleek boots by Rodo, and Duccio Del Duca’s strappy sandals.

Just don’t expect them to be around forever. The store’s open to the public twice a year for one month (right now and again in late March or early April) to correspond with the fall and spring fashion seasons. After that, it’s by appointment only.

Assuming, of course, Radakovich’s not out of town.
