The word “roadhouse” will always have a sweet ring.
But though Patrick Swayze’s badass bouncer act had you at hello, a night out at the Double Deuce might be a little rough for your crowd.
So get a tamer (but just as rewarding) fix at the newly opened Tillman’s Roadhouse. Chef Dan Landsberg, restaurateur Sara Tillman, interior designer Rob Dailey, and party planner Todd Fiscus all worked together to revamp the old Tillman’s Corner.
At their new-and-improved resto, everyone gets free truffled popcorn and warm peanuts. Just save room for the skillet cornbread, chile-dusted fries, or Shiner-poached shrimp appetizers.
Next, move on to chipotle BBQ ribs with macaroni and white cheddar. Top it all off with birthday cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert.
Tillman’s may never equal Swayze’s original for sheer thrills.
But kickin’ ass and takin’ names? They’ve got that down for sure.
