The Dallas collective of no-nonsense appliance experts patiently answers queries about busted gadgets until the errant bits are identified. Why won’t your washing machine wash? Try a new lid switch. Your refrigerator won’t cool? Could be the fan.

You can drop off broken apparatuses at the shop for repair or pick up parts and DIY at home (they’ll even walk you through it). There are few gear questions they can’t answer. Although you’ll have to figure out the meaning of life on your own.
