But you’re about to learn all about Ecologie, yet another alternative to the junky old plastic bag.

The line of totes was created by women in Houston in a bevy of bold colors (pink, red, blue, green, orange). Each holds quadruple the stuff of a plastic grocery bag (wowsers) and is lightweight, durable, water and dirt resistant, and recyclable.

At $2.50 a pop and with a lifespan of two years per carryall, it doesn’t take much green to be green (which is more than Anya and Marc can say). So why not jump on the Ecologie bandwagon?

Just think what a wonderful world this would be.
