Paradise City sounds great and all (green grass, pretty girls).
But it’s got nothing on Fuel City — 8,000 square feet and eight acres of pure fun stashed right off I-35. Seriously.
This is no ordinary gas station. It’s got, obviously, gas (usually the cheapest in town). And a swimming pool. A ranch with cows and donkeys. Delicious tacos and corn covered in cheese, sour cream, and salsa that’s to die. A pool girl strutting her stuff in a bikini. A drive-thru beer barn. Weekend karaoke in the parking lot. Did we mention it’s open 24 hours a day every day? Sure is.
The scene: a melting pot. Escalades mingle with El Caminos and eighteen-wheelers in the parking lot.
Take yourself down.
Fuel City, 801 South Industrial Boulevard, at I-35 (214-426-0011).
