Sexier way to help someone: Put his shirt on your back. Specifically, a Better Bacon shirt. The super-soft tees feature designs by disabled artists who get paid for every single sale, regardless of company profits.

Produced by members of the Kids of Widney High, a Southern Cali band made up of young adults with developmental disabilities, the designs run the artistic gamut, and each comes with a tag bearing the artist’s photo and personal statement. Our fave is Out of Shape Banana, a Velvet Underground-inspired work by Luis “Pee Wee” Fernandez, whose hobbies include playing guitar and raising hell with the school psychologists.

The artists are passionate individuals in search of a creative outlet and deserved recognition — but definitely not a handout.

So keep your shirt on.
