Melrose Place
The Library Bar Reopens

Frank Sinatra sits below Fergie on your iPod. Old black-and-white photos hang above your sleek Italian sofa. Vintage swing coats dangle next to new Missoni knits in your closet.
In short, you’re a modern girl with an old soul.
You’ll feel right at home inside the revamped Library Bar at the Warwick Melrose Hotel. The historical landmark recently updated its award-winning piano lounge with a jazzy new menu and design overhaul.
The former dark hideaway went Hollywood glam with zebra-stripe light fixtures, oriental carpets, and an eye-catching bar made of semiprecious blue stone. The menu was also revived with venison chili, Akaushi beef burgers, and raw fish specialties like swordfish with rosemary olive oil and yellowtail sashimi.
Luckily, the bar’s famous baby grand is still around.
And yes, Ol’ Blue Eyes requests are always welcome.
