Hemline Boutique Opens

You’re Southern belle to the bone.

Case in point: You take your tea sweet, adorn your neck in pearls, and wipe your behind with — gasp — monogrammed toilet paper.

Honey, you’re gonna love Hemline. Fourteen years ago the trendy women’s boutique opened in New Orleans’s French Quarter. Then, as shopgirls left the store over the years, they franchised the brand all over Dixieland from Nashville to Houston.

Today, Dallas lands lucky number twelve thanks to Ashley Williams (former Flirt boutique co-owner) and sister Kelly Hall, who worked in the New Orleans original. Their shop is brimming with garden party dresses, lacy tops, and embroidered tunics from affordable labels like Karlie and Hazel.

Of course the dolled-up digs have a Southern Living vibe complete with antique French chairs, raspberry toile curtains, and drippy chandeliers.

In other words, genuine Southern comfort.
