Delicious debuts are de rigueur in the fashion world. But normally they focus on clothes — not food.
Burger Bar is an exception to the rule. Neiman Marcus’s new lunch spot inside the famous Zodiac restaurant is serving up simple, all-American fare that’s couture nonetheless.
Burgers are designed from the bun up, starting with plain, onion, whole wheat, or ciabatta bread. Then there’s the patty (beef, turkey, veggie, salmon) and stylish toppings like roasted jalapenos, pesto, and chipotle steak sauce.
For shoppers not watching their waistlines, the menu has hand-cut fries (try the sweet potato) and milkshakes. For those who are, salads and a leave-the-bun-in-the-kitchen option are available, too.
But with the kind of power shopping you like to do, those carbs will be hard earned.
