But not so at Sartel. To call the new Shops at Highland Park boutique well edited would be liberal at best.

Creative directors Lily Atherton Hanbury and Matthew Earnest are keeping the floor impeccably merchandised with only the best pieces from Earnest’s women’s runway label and soon the store’s private collection, which hits this fall.

Currently mixed in with the Parsons grad’s (and native Texan’s) feathery skirts, sultry evening gowns, and structured tops are a few hand-selected fineries, from preppy ties to a rack of cool white cover-ups.

Not to miss? The elevated glass curiosity cabinet in the middle of the shop with a small selection of exquisite jewelry pieces that are edgy yet chic.

So stop by the next time you want to find some understated elegance.
