Wine over Matter
Ari’s Wine Bistro Opens

Gas prices. Hundred-degree heat. The nonstop coverage of Madonna’s personal life. It’s enough to drive a decent gal to drink.
Relax and raise a glass to Ari’s Wine Bistro. The new second-story Travis Walk watering hole (housed in Il Sole’s old space) is sister to the popular Chateau Wine Market & Bodega Bar located below.
Ari’s offers a world-class wine list (Etude, Flowers, Cakebread) with mom-and-pop prices (nothing exceeds $100 a bottle). That way you have change to try up-and-coming chef Craig Murphy’s unique comfort food.
His appetizers include calamari and crab cakes. Still hungry? The dinner menu’s hot ham ’n’ cheese sandwich and seared ahi tuna steak are just a bite from the extensive menu.
Which should take your mind off things.
At least until the next issue of Us Weekly comes out.
