Heart and Soley
Soley Restaurant

Socks and sandals. Donald and Rosie. Three martinis and a trampoline class.
Some things just don’t go together.
But French and Mexican foods aren’t two of them. To wit: new fusion kitchen Soley, in Knox/Henderson.
The proof is in the pudding — or, more precisely, the homemade chocolate cake with vanilla-tequila ice cream. But that’s just for dessert.
For starters, we like the escargot with tomatillo sauce. Daring but delicious main courses include red snapper with cilantro-jalapeno risotto and lamb chops with chorizo, black bean puree, and plantains.
The eclectic bicontinental cuisine blends the owners/chefs’ Mexican roots and time spent at cooking school in Lyon, France. It was there, actually, that they met and fell in love.
Much like what will happen when you see the menu.
