Sala Tex Mex Opens

Chips: What’s with all the fancy fusion in this town? One more chef’s pomegranate glaze or wasabi whipped potato and I’m out of a job.
Salsa: I know. Lately it seems like our days are numbered. But I did hear of this place called Sala that serves authentic Tex-Mex.
Chips: Sounds too simple to be true.
Salsa: I know. The menu’s extensive but bare bones. For entrees, there are tacos, burritos, tamales, fajitas, and enchiladas with Mexican rice and refried black beans. Starters include quesadillas and taco salad.
Chips: And the drinks?
Salsa: They have everything from tequila on the rocks (twenty types) to margaritas. Though there is a strawberry-cilantro mojito that I hear is delish.
Chips: Wow, that could permanently replace Mai Tai as my fave.
Salsa: Just don’t let Pupu Platter hear you say that.
