The Boardroom Sports Bar Opens

Jack: Honey, will you please watch the Cowboys game with me tonight?

Jane: There’s no way I’m stepping inside another sports bar. Last time I had peanut shells stuck to the bottom of my Pradas.

Jack: But The Boardroom just opened. It’s owned by the folks that back your favorite L.A. hotspots like Geisha House, Les Deux, and Ketchup.

Jane: I’m listening …

Jack: When you arrive, they bring fancy popcorn to the table. And the dinner menu includes seared cedar plank salmon, bacon-wrapped scallops, and pistachio-crusted chicken breast. I hear the lobster mac ’n’ cheese balls are amazing.

Jane: And the booze? Draft and bottled beer only?

Jack: Well, of course they have those, but champagne cocktails and fancy martinis are also on the list.

Jane: Okay, it’s a deal.

Jack: See, you’re already talking like you belong in The Boardroom.
