A New Vision

Samuel Lynne Galleries Opens

culture shock!

Your regular Saturday routine is as boring as your love life.

Turn off The Hills marathon and head over to Samuel Lynne Galleries.

The new Design District space is owned by Philip Romano (of EatZi’s and Nick & Sam’s fame) and local 3-D oil artist JD Miller. Housed in an 11,100-square-foot warehouse, the gallery includes a private-viewing theater room with a wine and espresso bar.

Works by both Romano (an artist outside the food arena, it turns out) and Miller hang alongside pieces by 21st-century talents they admire. A similar sentiment inspired the venture’s name: Samuel is Romano’s son; Jamie Lynne is Miller’s daughter.

Just like Romano’s restaurants, the concept blends taste and atmosphere beautifully, resulting in the sort of culture shock your lazy ass needs.

So peel off those sweatpants.

Your bum will thank you.
