So you’re a cougar (big whoop). He’s a pussy (hey, opposites attract).
The real furry friends that roam PrideRock Wildlife Refuge are hardly a joking matter.
Carol and Gary Holliman rescue lions, tigers, cougars, and even a few wolf dogs that have been abused, abandoned, confiscated, or can no longer be cared for by their owners. No, they’re not in Africa. Just thirty miles east of Dallas on nine acres in Kaufman County.
Though you can’t take one home, you can adopt an animal for $100 a month. The fee helps cover food, vet care, and vitamins. You can set up direct deposit for any amount via their website or even use PayPal.
Strapped for cash? They take volunteers who are up for the challenge.
Consider it your chance to role-play The Lion King.
