Next time you need a trip, head to Art & Lily. The new 1,500-square-foot home boutique with soaring twenty-foot ceilings is the love child of florist Bryan Long and artist David Nelson.

Inside the modern-day Bohemia, you’ll find eclectic furnishings — Turkish pillows, ceramic vases, antiqued mirrors — that the owners have collected over the years.

Loads of contemporary art (especially nude and surreal paintings) cover the walls, while a stem table holds grab-and-go flowers in tall tin buckets. Need a full-service florist? No prob: European-style arrangements are available by special order, too. 

Just to add to the delights, there’s a Parisian-style coffee bar with locally roasted java and herbal tea. So go ahead. 

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
